Hello! Happy Spring! As the weather has been heating up, I decided to put together this outfit to show how you can wear colour if you're so used to wearing black like me! I wore this one day just for a walk in the park and I really like it! It's not something I'm used to wearing, its quite a different shape, style and colour to what I'd usually go for but anyway, here it is...
This 70s inspired jumpsuit is from Boohoo and when I saw it online, I loved it! I ummed and arred over it for ages but decided to just be brave and go for it in the end! Its a flared leg, straight over the bust cut jumpsuit which is black but has quite thick stripes of white, orange, khaki green and burgundy colours over it. Sounds horrible when you describe it but it actually really works!
The jumpsuit is really fitted around the bust, body and thigh/bum area and then flairs over the legs. I styled it over a white long sleeved tee here, however it also looks really cool without the top underneath - I just was a bit too cold to wear it like that today! But in the summer, I'll definitely be wearing it on its own with a cool pair of platform sandals!
The one problem I had with this jumpsuit however, was the length. I am pretty tall though (5'8") and have long legs, and this jumpsuit was just long enough. I probably would prefer for it to be a bit longer but it's just about wearable with flat shoes. So if you're any taller than me, maybe this one is not for you :(
I also added my suede fitted biker jacket, however I think an oversized denim jacket would also look pretty cool with this jumpsuit!
Thanks to Peter for taking my photos! We are trying to be more artsy with my pictures! Hope you like them!
Also, I'm re-designing the layout of my blog! Its coming up to 3 years of juliettestephenson.co.uk and I feel like a change is needed! Keep a lookout - its going to be amazing!
Looks great! its quite bold but I do love it actually!
