OOTD : Shirred Tops and Pleated Culottes

Its so summery here! And guess what?!? I've finished university! Three years down, none to go! 

I went back home for the weekend, to kind of have a bit of a celebration as my final fashion show was a bit of a disaster (it was the morning after the manchester terrorist attack, a bit of a sad day for manchester, and it was almost cancelled, but did go ahead, but my university was then evacuated straight after the show anyway!) But while I was there, the weather was amazing! Unfortunately I've got back to manchester and although its warm, its certainly not sunny!

OOTD : Simple

Hello! I've been super busy recently as I'm coming up to the end of my final year of university! (Only 3 weeks and lots of sewing to go!!) But heres a very simple OOTD that I wore a the weekend. And don't miss me too much, after I finish uni, I promise to blog A LOT more! I already have quite a few posts in the making! 

It's been really quite warm recently so everything is looking nice and sunny! Yey! 

OOTD : 70s Striped Jumpsuit

Hello! Happy Spring! As the weather has been heating up, I decided to put together this outfit to show how you can wear colour if you're so used to wearing black like me! I wore this one day just for a walk in the park and I really like it! It's not something I'm used to wearing, its quite a different shape, style and colour to what I'd usually go for but anyway, here it is...

OOTD : Princess Hats and Leather Skirts

Hello! Just a little OOTD for you! Its really cold here at the moment and I am loving mixing textures. Here I have dresses a fringed leather skirt with winter knit wear and floral embroidery. I have then also added a rhinestone beanie to keep my ears warm!

Another post featuring ELB? I suppose it just goes to show how much I really like the brand! This time I'm talking about the super cute limited edition Je T'aime 2 piece swimsuit. 

(P.S. I have pale patches all over my body due to a skin condition - hopefully it doesn't look too weird!)

OOTD : Sparkly and Satin

Party season is still here, although unfortunately, here in the UK, its pretty cold! Here is an outfit I've put together which I think is perfect for any special events or occasions that is coming up while it's still chilly outside. 

Sparkles, metallics, satins and sequins are all in right now, and the trend is really easy to pull off! I've put together these blue wide leg satin trousers and a shimmery black and silver bodysuit. As the outfit sparkles, its perfect for an event or special occasion, but it also looks quite dressy, so could even be worn to a winter wedding, christening or even a works do! Its a perfect outfit for anything really! 

The back of this bodysuit has really pretty cross strap detailing and the fabric its made of is stretchy but quite stiff, meaning it can keep everything in place without the need for any unusual backless, strapless, sideless underwear!

The whole outfit is from Missguided and is still available to buy now, even with the massive 75%  January sale still on! The trousers come in a few different colours so if you're not into blue, how about the lovely blush coloured pair?

Underwear as Outerwear? Bodysuit by ELB Handmade *

ELB Handmade has featured on my blog a few times due to the amazing design, fit and prices. See another blog post featuring lingerie by ELB here. Ever since I found the brand on depop, I have adored the pieces that Emma, the owner of the brand, makes.

And to celebrate 2 years since the first underwear set was made this gorgeous khaki satin and  soft black mesh bodysuit with eyelash lace edging was released. I was very pleased to receive one and I absolutely love it!

The fit is perfect and it is so comfortable to wear. The fabric is so soft and I think it looks so nice on. ELB make every order by hand to your measurements so it will definitely fit. The brand also are willing to make any adjustments, such as adding any extras, like additional straps or even making it out of a different fabric if you wanted a different colour. 

I love this piece so much that I think it would also be great to wear not just at home, but also maybe on a night out. Here, I have simply worn it under a high waisted pair of jeans and I think it looks perfect for a night out or even a meal at a fancy restaurant. Add a leather jacket over the top and it makes an edgy but exciting outfit!

The bodysuit is available in UK sizes 8-16 and can be adjusted to fit your bra size as well! It costs only £17 with free postage. It does take around 10 working days for your order to be completed, but that is due to it being made to your custom size, so the wait is well worth it!
