The Best Online Jewellery Store Ever! - Galibardy *

31 July 2014

Galibardy is an amazing progressive, alternative, online jewellery store based in London. I was contacted by Lisa, so that I could check out their new boutique range, named Goth Boutique. If you're anything like me, you'll love it! The collection has everything from chunky rings, to sweet little necklaces to bold statement collars, and almost everything has rhinestones and Swarovski crystals! And as you can probably tell from the collections name, everything is pretty unique and a little bit 'alternative'.

I thought I'd share with you my pieces from the Goth Boutique at Garlibardy, as well as a few other bits from the rest of the store.

Galibardy was also kind enough to give me and all of you a 25% off discount code for the whole website, valid until August 4th 2014! Just enter juliettestephensonblog in the promo box at the checkout!

Firstly, can I just say how nice the packaging is? When the box was delivered, it was very neatly wrapped in brown paper, then after I ripped that off, I found this beauty of a box! Inside, everything was nicely wrapped too! The necklace came wrapped in tissue paper, inside a printed, tie string dust bag. And the ring came in that cute little box, lying surrounded by white tissue paper! It all looked so nice!

This necklace is the most amazing necklace I own! Its the Peacock Crystal Necklace and costs £35 (or only £26.25 with my discount code!) It has thousands of these black and gold-y coloured bead strands, as well as crystal flowers. All on a dark silver metal chain, also covered in black rhinestones!

The next thing I got was this Moon Child silver ring, costing £28 (or £21 with my discount code!) This ring is probably the best ring I have ever seen in my life. It reminds me of witches and unicorns and all sorts of stuff like that. The ring itself is Sterling Silver, meaning for people with metal allergies, like myself, it won't turn your finger green or make you itchy or anything! In the middle of the ring, there is a large crystal which glows  purples, greens and blue, then at each side there is a dark red crystal! I love it so so so much!!!

The rest of the Goth Boutique Collection is just as amazing. Here are a few of my favourites. All images copyright to Galibardy.com! If you like the product in the image, click it, and it will take to straight to that page on the site!

Bug Life Crystal Necklace - £65

Santos the Sugar Skull Cat Ring - £28

Astarte Collar Necklace - £52
Star of the Sea Cuff - £35

Galibardy's stock is always changing, so keep that in mind when trying to order specific pieces. Sometimes, only one piece of jewellery is in stock and therefore, when its gone, it really is gone. But if you do ever order a piece, just be happy that you have one amazing piece of unique jewellery!

Thanks so much to Galibardy for contacting me! And thanks even more for giving us all the discount code. Again its juliettestephensonblog just enter it in the promo box at the checkout!

MTV Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson releases her own Coloured Contact Lenses *

30 July 2014

Marnie Simpson, Geordie Shore's series 7 new girl, has revealed her first range of cosmetic contact lenses! The natural, brown-eyed girl likes to experiment with different eye colours to achieve different looks.

Marnie wearing her 'Sea Green' Lenses

She has teamed up with My Cosmetic Lenses, to create a her own range of six different contact colours. The important factor for Marnie is that they look 100% natural. She says,

"It is so important for me to only have lenses which look 100% natural in my range. There's no point in having striking eyes if everyone can see they're clearly not real."

"It took me so long to find the right contact lenses! I was so frustrated wearing really unformatble, irritating, expensive and unnatural looking lenses and so when I found the perfect lenses with www.mycosmeticlenses.co.uk I was so happy.

"I would often get complimented for my lovely pure blue eyes, and would just smile and agree. No one would be able to tell.

'Pure Blue'

"I worked hard with the design team and everything on the site I'm very proud of.

"We also worked hard to get the shape and makeup of the lenses correct so that they're extremely comfortable to wear in the eye, as in the past I've worn lenses that really irritated."

Marnie's range has a 1 year life after first use and cost only £12.99 with free delivery. Her colours include:

Keep an eye out on my future post to see me wearing some from the range!

This phone case is from H&M and is my favourite case at the moment (I have a huge collection!) The silicone case fits iPhone 4 & 4S and is only £2.99 inshore now! My nail polish is also from H&M, the shade is 'Something Blue' and is currently on sale for only 50p!

H&M Nail Polish

28 July 2014

Hello everyone! I thought I'd just make this quick little post about some amazing nail polish I tried for the first time today!

I always shop at H&M but I've never tried out any of their beauty products. Last week when I was shopping, I spotted that there a was a huge amount of nail polish for sale and I just had to try it! The nail polish at H&M is usually around the £3 mark, but at the moment, the polish is reduced to only 50p!

I's so happy that I bought a few as they really are such great quality! I used two coats of the product and found that to be enough to get good coverage. It has also dried pretty quicky so I have no complaints!

The colour I have used here is called "Something Blue"! Head down to H&M and pick up a few while they're really cheap! Hope you love them as much as I so!

MTV Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan for The Fashion Bible *

Geordie Shore Holly Hagan celebrates her birthday by channeling her inner Kylie! The record breaking MTV show returned for series eight last week (22nd July) And 22 year old Holly has released her latest fashion collection 'Summer Holiday Additions'.
In an apparent homage to the 13 year old smash hit, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, the Middlesbrough lass strikes a pose reminiscent of the famous Kylie Minogue track, which topped the UK charts for a whole month.

Backless Hooded Bodysuit in Grey - £15.99

Two Piece Striped V Front Bralet and Skirt - £32.99

Showing her curves in all the right places, Holly’s figure is unrecognicable from the young girl that entered Geordie Shore series 1, just 2 years ago.
Holly added: “I struggle looking at old pictures of myself, I used to think I looked great on a nightout with my 5 pairs of eyelashes, skimpy PVC skirt and 1 leather glove, but in reality, I looked like a baby elephant!”
LUXE Lace Detail Bodycon Dress - £34.99

“My look this series will shock a lot of people. I’ve ditched the rainbow coloured hair, for some more natural brown tones, and I’ve been working overtime in the gym, as well as getting help with my diet.
“With TheFashionBible.co.uk I really needed to make a Summer wardrobe that fitted real girls, after all I have to model it, and there’s no way I’d fit into clothes which didn’t allow for a womanly shape. My Mam jokes that I’ve the perfect child baring body, but that doesn’t help trying to fit into some of the stupidly tight clothes on the high street.
“The range has sizes from 6 to 26 in selected items, and prices start from £8.99 so there is something for everyone.
Floral Swing Dress in Black - £14.99
Limited Edition Maxi Dress - £21.99

“This Summer, for the first time since I was a child, I think I’ll be able to enjoy myself on the beach and not be totally embarrassed about my figure, and that feels good.”
If you're interested in any of Holly's gorgeous new range, visit The Fashion Bible.

My Top 5 Drugstore Lip Products

23 July 2014

Number 5 : Collection Gothic Glam
My fifth favourite drugstore lip product has got to be Collection's Gothic Glam Lipstick in 02 Scorned. This lipstick is only £2.99 at Superdrug (here) and is definitely worth the money! It comes in three different colours, the purple one I have, a dark plum and a dark red. The colour payoff is excellent and with only one coat, it look amazing. It also lasts a good few hours before wearing off! If you're looking for a cheap and cheerful dark purple (almost black!) lipstick, then this is the one for you!

(02 Scorned)

Number 4 : Maxfactor Flipstick
It was really had to choose my fourth favourite, but I have eventually decided on Maxfactor's Colour Effect Flipstick in 01 Petit Lancy (now named Boreal Mauve). This lipstick is double ended and the shade I got it in, is a lovely pinky purple colour at one end, with and iridescent lavender colour at the other. As its double ended, you can create all sorts of looks, but what I like to do the most is an ombre lip. So I start with the lightest shade towards the inner parts of my lips, then work out to the darker shade. This gives a really cool effect and also gives the illusion of a plumper lip. This lipstick is £8.49 at Superdrug (here). I also have the red and gold one (Gipsy Red) but have misplaced it :(

(01 Petit Lancy / Boreal Mauve)

Number 3 : Collection Cream Puff Lip Cream
This is one of my most favourite lip products I have ever bought! It is described as a velvety soft, matte moisturising lip cream, and that is exactly what it is! I really wish this came in more shades, but at the moment, there is only four. I have both the peachy one (03 Fairy Cake) and the pink one (01 Cotton Candy) and I cannot decide which I like the most out of the two. At only £2.99 (here)  I do not understand why anyone wouldn't want to buy it! The product has a gorgeous vanilla scent and it glides on the lips so easily. It takes under a minute to dry and looks so amazing and matte, without drying out the lips, which a lot of matte products do!

(01 Cotton Candy)

Number 2 : Rimmel London 1000 Kisses Lip Tint
This lip tint is, without a doubt, the best lip tint I have ever used. I have the shade 110 Stay Very Berry, with is a bright pink colour, and can be darkened, by applying more coats. This lip tint is double ended, with the actual tint, in a pen tip, at one side, and a clear lip balm at the other. The tint itself if amazing! It lasts literally all day and does not wear off after eating or drinking. It is also extremely easy to apply, has no scent whatsoever and dries in no time. Unfortunately  Superdrug and Boots don't stock it anymore, but it can be bought online at many places, for the same price as on the highstreet. Buy it at Asos here.

(110 Stay Very Berry)

Number 1 : MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer
Where can I start with saying how absolutely amazing this product is?? This product is the first one from MUA's range that I have ever liked. It is a lip lacquer that dries completely matte. I have the shade Kooky, which is a blue toned purple, which means that It makes your teeth look stunningly white! The product is only £3 (here) but looks and feels like it should be so much more. The casing of the product looks so sleek, with its simple matte black top and frosted glass bottle. This product glides on so easily and takes about 5 minutes to dry. The drying time is the only downside to this product, its definitely not one which you can just sweep on and be out the door, it does take time, but as soon as its dry, its staying! Even though this product is matte, it doesn't dry out your lips. I urge you all to try out this product! It is incredible! I will be buying lots more shades!!
